Zara's City Zoom

Zara the zebra was no ordinary zebra. Her stripes shimmered with every color of the rainbow!

She loved adventure, especially on her shiny red roller skates. "Zoom!" she'd squeal, gliding fast.

Today, the big city called to her. Tall skyscrapers touched the sky, sparkling like giant jewels.

"Stay close, my little rainbow," Mama Zebra gently reminded. "The city is very, very big."

Zara rolled into the bustling streets. Lights twinkled, and friendly animal faces hurried past.

A sparkling fountain caught her eye. Then, a delicious smell from a bakery made her tummy rumble!

She zipped around a corner, then stopped. Where was Mama? The street looked different now.

Her heart fluttered like a trapped butterfly. The tall buildings seemed even taller and scarier.

Mama always said, "Look carefully, Zara. What do you see?" Zara took a deep, shaky breath.

She noticed a big clock tower, just like the one near her home. And a bright yellow bus!

But which way? Zara knew she needed help. Mama also said, "It's brave to ask for directions."

She spotted Mr. Pipsqueak, a pigeon with a tiny hat. "Excuse me, sir?" she asked softly.

"I'm Zara, and I'm a little lost. Do you know the way to the big striped house?"
