His cozy den was full of sparkles. A button, a bottle cap, a smooth stone.
One sunny morning, Zane explored. He found something new by the stream.
It shimmered and shone! He turned the clear bottle. So beautiful.
"Hoo-hoo, Zane," a wise voice called. Professor Hoot watched from above.
"That shiny thing is not a treasure," Professor Hoot said softly.
It can hurt our forest friends. It stays for a very long time.
Zane looked at the bottle. His bright blue mask furrowed. Oh dear.
He looked around the woods. More shiny plastic! He had an idea.
Zane chittered loudly. His raccoon friends gathered. Pip and Rusty listened.
