Toby and the Watery Kitchen

Toby the toaster lived in a busy, bright kitchen. He loved making warm, crispy toast every day. But Toby had a secret worry, a tiny fear. He was very, very afraid of water!

This kitchen was always trying new, yummy foods. Pots bubbled, and water splashed quite often. Flip the spatula was Toby's very best friend. Flip was always cheerful and super brave.

One morning, a big "WHOOSH!" sound filled the air. Water began to rise from under the kitchen sink! "Oh no!" cried Toby, his round eyes wide open. The kitchen floor quickly became a shimmering blue lake.

Soon, the kitchen was an amazing water world. Little pasta shapes floated by like happy fish. Bright berries bobbed like tiny red boats. Toby shivered, feeling very, very scared.

"Look, Toby!" called Flip, pointing with his head. A little stream of water poured from the wall. "That's where all the water is coming from!" It was a small, steady, dripping leak.

"We must stop it!" said Flip, very bravely. "But... but it's wet down there!" Toby worried. His shiny red body trembled a little bit. He really, really did not want to get wet.

"Don't worry, Toby!" said Flip with a smile. "We can work together, you and I, my friend." "We need something soft to plug the hole." Flip looked around the watery, floating room.

"Aha!" Flip spotted a big, soft marshmallow. It was floating by like a fluffy white cloud. "That's perfect for plugging the leaky pipe!" But the marshmallow was quite far away.

"I can't reach it alone," Flip sighed sadly. "But I can help!" Toby suddenly chirped. He saw a long wooden spoon nearby on the counter. It was just out of his reach, but not too far.
