The Whispering Meadow's Secret

In the Whispering Meadow, lived a little wildflower named Willow. Her petals were soft and white, like tiny clouds.

All around her, bright flowers bloomed. Rosie, the red rose, shone like a jewel. Sunny, the sunflower, beamed with yellow.

Willow watched them, her head drooping a little. 'They are so pretty,' she whispered to herself. 'My white petals are just... plain.'

Bella, the bluebell, rang with color. Butterflies danced around her. Willow felt small and almost invisible next to them.

One sunny morning, a gentle breeze tickled Willow’s stem. She looked up slightly, a tiny spark of curiosity in her expression. A blurry shape of a bee is in the distance.

It was Buzz, a busy bumblebee! He buzzed from flower to flower, collecting sweet, sticky nectar.

Buzz landed on Rosie, then Sunny. He gathered golden dust, called pollen, on his fuzzy legs.

Willow watched closely. Buzz didn't just pick nectar. He carried tiny specks from one flower to another.

Then, Buzz flew closer to Willow. He hovered for a moment, then gently landed on her soft white petals.

'Hello, little one!' buzzed Buzz. 'I need your special dust to help new seeds grow. It's called pollen!'

Willow blinked. 'My dust? But I'm not colorful like Rosie or Sunny. Do I have important pollen too?'

'Every flower has important pollen,' Buzz explained. 'Big or small, bright or soft, you all help the meadow grow.'

Buzz carefully collected tiny grains from Willow's center. He hummed a happy tune as he worked.
