Meet Vikram! He was a young scientist, always dreaming of amazing discoveries in his special lab.
Today, his big project was a magnificent, rumbling volcano! He wanted its eruption to be absolutely perfect.
Vikram carefully measured baking soda. 'Just so!' he whispered, pouring it precisely into the volcano's crater.
Then, he added a splash of vinegar. *Fizz, fizz!* But... where was the grand, foamy eruption?
'Oh no,' Vikram sighed. 'It's not right. My volcano is broken!' He felt a little worried and glum.
Grandma Lily peeked in. Her eyes were warm and kind. 'What's happening here, my little inventor?'
'It won't erupt properly,' Vikram mumbled. 'I made a mistake. It's all wrong.'
Grandma sat beside him. 'Hmm,' she pondered. 'What if we tried a *different* amount of baking soda?'
Vikram looked doubtful, but carefully scooped a *bigger* spoonful this time. 'More baking soda,' he decided.
He added the vinegar. *WHOOSH!* A tiny puff of foam, then... nothing much again.
'Still not right!' Vikram frowned. 'Maybe I should just give up on this volcano.'
Grandma smiled. 'Every try teaches us something new, Vikram. What did this try teach you?'
Vikram thought. 'More baking soda wasn't enough. Maybe it needs something else, too?'
'What about a tiny drop of dish soap?' Grandma suggested, holding up a small, clear bottle. 'For extra bubbles!'
