Jacob, Bella, Tabitha, and Jasmin loved Grandpa’s magical garden. It was full of secrets.
Tonight, something was wrong. The garden felt quiet, and the air was chilly.
"Look!" Jacob whispered, pointing. "The fireflies aren't glowing their usual bright light!"
Tabitha checked her nature book. "Oh no! The Moonpetals won't bloom without firefly light!"
Jasmin shivered. "I feel a strange, cold tingle right near the firefly bush."
Jacob’s sharp eyes spotted something. "What's this? A shimmering scale!"
Bella gently picked it up. It was warm and sparkled like a tiny rainbow. "What is it?"
Tabitha examined it closely. "It’s not from any bug or creature I know," she declared.
Jasmin gasped, pointing to an ancient oak tree. "Look! A message on the bark!"
The riddle read: "I hide where shadows dance and warmth is found, my light is dim, but soon profound."
Jacob thought hard. "Shadows dance... and warmth is found... What could it mean?"
Bella, excited, ran towards the darkest, warmest corner of the garden, her wellington boots splashing through a small puddle. "This way!"
Tabitha called out, "Wait, Bella! Let's think logically first!" But Bella was too fast.
Jasmin stopped, sniffing the air near a thick curtain of vines. A faint, sweet, almost magical scent seems to drift from behind them.
