Leo had new red sneakers. He loved to zoom and play. But his shoelaces were tricky.
He pulled and he tugged. He tried to make a loop. The laces just wiggled.
Oh dear! Soon, Leo was all tangled up. He sighed a big turtle sigh.
Grandma Shelly watched him. She had a clever idea. "My dear Leo," she said softly.
"Let's try the Noodle Knot Challenge!" she chirped. Leo's eyes widened.
Soon, warm, wiggly spaghetti filled a bowl. It smelled yummy and fun.
"First, make a loop," Grandma Shelly showed. The noodle was soft and squishy.
Leo tried, too! The noodle flopped and jiggled. He laughed a happy giggle.
"Then, cross them over," she explained. "Like a noodle hug!"
Leo pushed and pulled the noodles. It was a squishy, silly game. He tried again and again.
