Luna and DJ had a super-duper sleepover! Blankets were forts, pillows were mountains.
"Whee!" giggled Luna, bumping DJ a little too hard. Oops! Mr. Snuggles fell.
DJ rubbed his arm. It didn't hurt much, but he felt a little sad. He missed his mom.
"I want to go home," DJ whispered to Mr. Snuggles. He hugged his special bear tight.
"No, stay!" said Luna. But then, quick as a wink, she took Mr. Snuggles!
"Hey! Give him back!" cried DJ. Mr. Snuggles was a gift from his mom.
Luna zipped to her wooden toy box. *Click!* She locked Mr. Snuggles inside.
DJ felt tears. His special bear was gone! Luna just looked at her pebbles.
Luna's mom came in. "What's wrong, sweetie?" she asked DJ softly.
"Luna took Mr. Snuggles!" DJ sniffled, pointing to the box. Luna hummed.
Mom looked at Luna. "Why is Mr. Snuggles in there, sweet pea?" Luna pointed to her pebbles.
Red, blue, yellow, red, blue, yellow. Luna loved patterns. She loved soft things too.
DJ remembered. Luna liked things to be *just right*. And she liked soft smells.
He remembered his mom's words: "Sometimes friends do things we don't understand."
