River loved to listen. He heard every whisper of the wind. His heart felt like a peaceful pond.
Between their homes were the tall Misty Peaks. Now, the mist grew thick, thick, thick!
The Friendship Feast was coming soon! Ember felt a little lost in the swirling gray.
River wondered how they would meet. The thick mist made him feel quite alone.
"I must go!" Ember decided, taking a deep breath. She bravely stepped into the soft, cool mist.
