The Melody of Love

Rosie loved her big brother, David, more than anything. He was her best friend and her hero.

David was a wonderful musician. His acoustic guitar sang beautiful songs that made Rosie's heart dance.

Rosie would often sit quietly, listening to every note. She knew all his favorite tunes by heart.

One day, David had exciting news! He was going to play in a big concert at school.

But as the concert day grew closer, David started to look a little worried. His bright smile wasn't as often seen.

He practiced his songs over and over, but sometimes he would sigh and shake his head.

Rosie saw his worried eyes. She wanted to help her dear brother feel happy and brave again.

She drew him a special picture: a bright sun, a smiling guitar, and a big, happy heart.

"This is for you, David!" she chirped. "Your music is like sunshine! I know you can do it!"

David thanked her, but his nervousness lingered. He still felt a fluttery feeling in his tummy.

Rosie had another idea! When David played, she would dance and twirl like a happy butterfly.

She pretended to be a conductor, waving her arms and making silly, exaggerated faces. David chuckled.

"You are the best, David!" Rosie declared, giving him a big, tight hug. "Your music makes everyone happy!"
