Nia and Rohan lived on a bright houseboat. It was called "The Lotus Dream."
Their home floated gently on Kerala's calm backwaters. They loved their boat!
But they always bickered. "My turn to steer!" Nia would declare.
"No, mine!" Rohan would shout back. "I'm the captain today!"
One afternoon, the sky turned dark. "A storm is coming," Appa said softly.
Appa quickly tied everything down. "Stay safe, little ones!" he called.
Suddenly, rain poured down! Wind howled! The Lotus Dream rocked and swayed.
"Oh no!" cried Nia. "We're rocking too much!" Rohan held her hand tight.
Appa struggled with the big wheel. "I need help!" he called. "Both of you!"
Nia rushed to one side. Rohan bravely grabbed the other.
