Leo and Maya snuggled on the couch. Outside, Canadian snow fell softly. Inside, their TV glowed with a dazzling K-drama. Leo loved the mystery, Maya loved the colourful outfits.
Suddenly, the screen flickered. A strange, swirling light pulsed from the television, growing brighter and brighter. Maya gasped, "What's happening, Leo?"
Before they could move, a gentle tug pulled them forward. The room spun. The familiar living room blurred into a kaleidoscope of colours. They were floating!
*WHOOSH!* They landed softly on a polished floor. The air buzzed with energy. They were backstage, surrounded by glittering costumes and busy people. This was not Leo's living room!
A handsome young man with silver hair rushed past, looking worried. "My lucky microphone! It's gone!" he cried. This was Minjun, the famous K-pop idol from the drama!
Minjun held a crumpled note. "My performance is tonight! Without my special mic, I can't sing!" Leo, always good with puzzles, stepped forward. "Maybe we can help?"
The note had a drawing of a dancing figure. "The first clue," Minjun explained, "leads to where we practice our moves." Maya’s eyes sparkled. "A mystery! Let's go!"
They followed Minjun to a bright practice studio. Mirrored walls reflected their excited faces. On a whiteboard, a complex dance diagram was drawn. Leo noticed something odd.
Hidden under a flap of the diagram was a sticker: a sweet, round pancake! "It looks like Hotteok!" Maya exclaimed, her stomach rumbling. "A Korean treat!"
The next clue led them to a bustling street market. The air filled with delicious smells. Maya’s eyes grew wide. "Look at all the amazing foods!" she cheered.
They found a Hotteok stall. While Maya happily munched, Leo peered under the cart. There, tucked away, was a small, rolled-up scroll. Another clue!
The scroll showed a drawing of a peaceful garden with a stone lantern. "A place for quiet reflection," Minjun said. "The garden of the old palace!"
The garden was beautiful and calm. Stone lanterns lined the paths. The air smelled of fresh blossoms. Maya whispered, "It’s so peaceful here."
At the base of a tall stone lantern, Leo found a tiny, sparkly K-pop light stick. It wasn't the microphone, but it was a clue! It pointed towards "the stage where dreams shine."
