Leo, a little chameleon, had a very big question. "Papa," he'd ask, "how does *everything* work?"
His colors shimmered with wonder. He wanted to know about bugs, and leaves, and even the clouds!
Papa, wise and patient, pushed up his spectacles. "My curious boy," he said, "let's find out together!"
"Welcome," Papa announced, "to our very own Great Discovery Zone!" Their backyard felt magical.
First, they spotted a spiderweb, glistening like tiny jewels in the morning sun, strung between two leaves.
"Look closely, Leo," Papa whispered. "What do you think happens next on this sticky silk?"
Leo watched a tiny fly land. *Zzzzt!* It wiggled, stuck fast! The spider quickly appeared.
"Oh!" Leo gasped. "The web is a trap! It helps the spider catch its breakfast!"
Next, a loud *Bzzzzzzzz!* led them to a patch of bright, sweet-smelling purple petunias.
"What do you think that busy bee is doing here, Leo?" Papa asked, adjusting his glasses.
Leo watched the bee dance from flower to flower, its tiny legs covered in yellow powder.
"It's collecting pollen!" Leo exclaimed. "To make honey and help the flowers grow seeds!"
Suddenly, a soft, fluffy white feather drifted down from the sky, twirling gently in the breeze.
"Now, my curious chameleon," Papa murmured, "what makes this feather float so gracefully?"
