📖 Read the Story

Little Juniper the fox loved sunny days. Her floppy ear twitched with joy.

But dark clouds gathered. A deep rumble echoed far away.

Juniper shivered. Thunderstorms made her little heart thump-thump-thump!

*CRACK! BOOM!* The forest shook. Rain poured down.

Juniper dashed through the rain. She needed her friend, Bartholomew Bear.

Bartholomew's hollow was warm and safe. "Come in, little one," he rumbled.

Juniper snuggled close. *CRACK! BOOM!* She whimpered softly.

"Let's play a game," Bartholomew whispered. "Watch the lightning flash."

"Then, count slowly, one, two, three... until you hear the thunder."

*FLASH!* Juniper counted. "One... two... three... *BOOM!*"
