Ravi arrived at the sunny beach. His bright blue bucket and sturdy red spade were ready.
He loved making magnificent sandcastles. Each one was a tiny, intricate kingdom.
Today, he planned his grandest castle yet! With tall, winding walls and many towers.
A friendly seagull, Gulliver, watched from a smooth grey rock. *Squawk!* he chirped softly.
Hours passed. Ravi added tiny shell decorations and a seaweed flag. It was perfect!
But the ocean tide was slowly creeping closer, closer to his sandy kingdom.
Ravi looked up. Oh no! The waves were getting big, splashing nearer.
*WHOOSH!* A giant wave crashed! His beautiful castle crumbled into wet sand.
Ravi felt a big lump in his throat. All his hard work, gone in a splash.
Gulliver landed nearby. *Squawk-squawk!* he cooed gently, nudging a pebble.
Gulliver then flew a little further up the beach, landing on dry, soft sand.
Ravi watched. Higher up? Away from the waves? A new idea sparked!
He picked up his spade. This time, he chose a spot far from the water's edge.
He built bigger, stronger foundations, knowing the tide would return.
