Quinn's New Home

Quinn the quail loved his cozy home. He lived in a field of tall, golden grass.

He knew every blade of grass, every sunbeam. This was his perfect, safe place.

One morning, a rumbling sound began. *Vroom! Vroom!* It grew louder and louder.

A giant red machine rolled closer. Its huge metal teeth dug deep into the earth.

Quinn had to run! His cozy field was turning upside down, blade by blade.

He stopped at the edge, panting. His beautiful home was gone, replaced by brown, bumpy rows.

A cold flutter of fear filled his chest. Where would he sleep? Where would he find his tasty seeds?

Quinn felt very small and alone. But he knew he couldn't stay here. He had to be brave.

He took a deep breath and began to walk. Every new rustle made him jump.

Suddenly, a fluffy grey rabbit hopped near. "Hello there!" chirped the rabbit.

Reggie Rabbit wiggled his nose. "Are you lost? You look a bit worried."

Quinn explained his field was gone. "I need a new home," he whispered, feeling a little less alone.

"Oh dear!" Reggie said. "Don't worry! I know just the place. Follow me!"
