📖 Read the Story
Professor Quentin Quail lived deep in the Amazon. His lab coat had many holes, just like his memory!
"Just a tiny adjustment, Percy," he mumbled, twisting a knob. "A new *luminescence* device!"
"A-CHOO!" Professor Quail sneezed, quite loudly. WHOOSH! A strange ray zapped them!
"Goodness gracious!" cried the Professor. "We've shrunk! My *molecular structure* is minuscule!" squawked Percy.
"A shrinking ray!" Professor Quail gasped. "Accidental, but amazing! What wonders could we find now?"
"The giant Kapok tree!" he exclaimed. "Let's explore its hidden world, Percy!"
They journeyed through the tall, towering grass. Each blade felt like a giant green pole.
The Kapok tree's bark was a mountain! They climbed carefully, into its secret nooks.
"Look, Percy!" whispered Professor Quail. Two tiny, bright green tree frogs hopped past.
"Excellent *camouflage*," squawked Percy. "They are perfectly adapted to this micro-habitat!"
Suddenly, a parade of busy leafcutter ants marched by. Some were even battling for a leaf!
"Such teamwork!" Professor Quail marvelled. "They work together to build their homes and gather food."
"Greetings, little ones," a slow voice rumbled. It was Barnaby, a wise old beetle.
"Those ants help the tree grow," Barnaby explained. "And the frogs eat tiny bugs that bother the leaves."
