📖 Read the Story
In a cozy valley lived three little pigs: Pip, Pat, and Podge. Pip was curious, Pat was practical, and Podge loved naps. A crisp autumn wind whispered, "Winter is coming!"
Soon, the first soft snowflakes danced down. The valley transformed into a sparkling wonderland. The pigs giggled, catching flakes on their snouts. "How beautiful!" squealed Pip.
But then, the sky turned a deep, icy grey. A mighty blizzard roared, unlike any they had ever known. The wind howled, and snow piled higher than their little homes.
Their straw, stick, and mud homes trembled. "Oh, dear!" cried Pat. "This storm is too strong!" Podge shivered, pulling his hat tighter. Their cozy valley was now a frozen challenge.
Pip, peering through a frosty window, heard whispers carried on the wind. "The Ancient Snow-Man… deep in the Crystal Peaks… he controls the winter's breath." A brave idea sparked in his heart.
"We must find the Snow-Man!" Pip declared, his voice firm. Pat gasped, and Podge gulped. "But it's so far! So cold!" Pat worried. "We must be brave," Pip insisted.
With warm clothes and courage, the three pigs ventured into the Whispering Woods. The snow was deep, covering everything in a thick, white blanket. Every step was an effort.
Pat, ever practical, used a sturdy stick to test the snow ahead. Podge stumbled, but Pip encouraged them. "We're almost there!" he called, though he wasn't quite sure.
They reached an icy slope, slick and dangerous. Pat hesitated. But Pip, noticing a cluster of snow-covered rocks, found a safer, winding path. "Follow me!" he squeaked.
Finally, they emerged from the woods. Before them stretched the majestic Crystal Peaks, gleaming under the pale winter sun. It was a sight both awe-inspiring and a little frightening.
A sudden, mighty gust of wind swept through the peaks. Snow swirled, and from the highest point, a colossal figure materialized. The Ancient Snow-Man! He was immense and silent.
His voice, like the rumble of distant thunder, echoed across the peaks. "Why disturb my slumber, little ones? What brings you to my frozen domain?" He seemed stern, yet ancient.
Pip, though his heart thumped like a drum, stepped forward. "Great Snow-Man," he began, "your winter is too strong! We need to build homes that can withstand its might."
The Snow-Man considered this. "Hmm," he rumbled. "Then prove your strength. Build a shelter here, strong enough to withstand my breath. If it holds, I shall share a secret."
