📖 Read the Story

Three little pigs lived in a sunny Japanese valley. Piko, Pipi, and Popo loved to play.

Piko had bright, curious eyes. He wore a tiny blue kimono. He loved to explore new paths.

One day, a big shadow fell. Okami-san, the wolf, was near! He had shaggy grey fur.

"Oh no!" cried Pipi. "We must build strong houses!" She quickly gathered bamboo poles.

Popo found paper screens for his home. "This will be fast!" he smiled, looking sleepy.

But Piko wanted a truly strong house. He packed his little bag. "I will find the best!"

Piko walked through a tall bamboo forest. The stalks swayed and creaked above him.

He climbed a winding mountain path. Higher and higher he went. He saw many stones.

"These stones are strong!" Piko cheered. He found thick, sturdy wood too.

Piko worked hard. He built a house of stone and wood. It had a strong, tiled roof!
