Penelope Penguin peeked at the big, icy ocean. Her bright yellow beak trembled!
All the other penguins dove and glided, so fast and free!
But Penelope just splashed and sank. *Splash! Glug!* Oh dear!
"I can't do it!" she whispered, feeling very small.
Then, Old Man Patu waddled near, his wise eyes crinkling.
"Little one," he cooed softly, "the water waits for you."
He showed her how to push, *swish, swish*, with her strong little flippers.
Penelope tried again, *swish, swish!* "You can do it!" cheered Pip and Polly.
A tiny float! Then a wobble! "Don't give up!" they cried.
"Trust your heart, little one," Patu murmured. "It knows the way."
