📖 Read the Story
Nora the narwhal loved winter best. She swam through icy blue water. Her long tusk sparkled like a star.
Cold winds whistled softly. Snowflakes danced and swirled. Other sea creatures began to leave.
"They swim south," Nora sighed. "Where it is warm and sunny." Nora loved the icy north.
Soon, the ocean felt very quiet. Nora felt a little lonely. Her happy flukes drooped low.
But wait! A small friend appeared. It was Percy the penguin. He waddled right up to Nora.
"Hello, Nora!" Percy chirped. "I am not swimming south." "I like the snow too!"
Nora blinked her big blue eyes. "You like the cold?" she asked. "Just like me?"
"Yes!" Percy flapped his wings. "Come, Nora, let's play!" "I know a special game."
Nora looked at the deep snow. "But how can I play?" she wondered. Percy smiled, "Watch me!"
Percy flopped into the soft snow. He flapped his little wings. He made a perfect snow angel!
