Noah moved to a new town. His new room felt big and empty. He missed his old friends.

Noah loved stories most of all. Books were his best friends, always ready for an adventure.

He read about dragons, faraway lands, and brave knights. He wished he was brave too.

One sunny morning, at the park, he saw a girl. She had bright red hair and laughed loudly.

Her name was Lily. She bounced and skipped, telling jokes to the flowers. "Why did the scarecrow win an award?"

Noah felt a little flutter in his tummy. He wanted to hide behind his book.

But Lily spotted him! "Hello!" she called, skipping closer. "Are you reading a super secret story?"

Noah mumbled, "It's about a brave explorer." Lily's eyes sparkled. "Oh, I love adventures!"

She sat beside him. "Did you hear about the invisible man? He married an invisible woman. Their kids were never seen again!"

Noah giggled. It was a small sound, but it was there. Lily smiled. "You like stories too!"

"I love them," Noah whispered. "Especially tales of magic and faraway places."

"I know a secret place," Lily announced, jumping up. "It’s perfect for imagining!"
