📖 Read the Story
Maya the astronaut mouse loved stars. She dreamed of soaring past planets, a tiny explorer in a vast, twinkling sky. Her heart felt big with wonder.
One sunny morning, her little rocket ship blasted off! Zoom! Maya waved goodbye to Earth, a blue marble fading behind her. What adventures awaited?
Suddenly, a gentle tug pulled her. Her ship drifted towards a planet unlike any other. It was entirely made of soft, fluffy clouds!
Maya carefully landed. The ground felt like walking on a giant marshmallow! 'Oh my,' she squeaked, 'a cloud planet!' Her whiskers twitched with curiosity.
Then, soft shapes drifted closer. They were cloud creatures! Pale blue, pink, and lavender, with sparkling eyes and wispy smiles. They floated gracefully.
'Hello, little space friend!' a pink cloud creature puffed. 'Welcome to Nimbus. We have a big wish, but we need help.'
They pointed to the bright, glowing moon far above. 'We wish to visit the moon,' a blue cloud explained. 'But it's so very far away!'
'We tried to build a bridge of our wishes,' a lavender cloud added sadly. 'But our wishes float away before they can connect.'
Maya looked at the moon, then at the floating wisps. 'A bridge of wishes?' she thought. 'How can wishes become strong enough to hold?'
She watched the cloud creatures. Each one sent a tiny, shimmering wish towards the moon. But alone, each wish was too light, too fragile.
Maya remembered her own dream of space. It wasn't just her wish; it was all the engineers and dreamers who helped build her rocket.
'What if we wished *together*?' Maya chirped, her eyes sparkling. 'All our wishes, woven into one big, strong dream bridge!'
The cloud creatures looked at each other, then at Maya. Their sparkling eyes widened. 'Together?' they puffed, a new hope blooming.
Maya showed them. 'Imagine your wish, then send it to your friend's wish. Let them hold onto each other!'
