Maya and the Moonbeam Magic

Maya lived in a cozy cottage. Long braids bounced as she played.

Her favorite spot was under the whispering willow tree. Stories bloomed there.

Little Sami, her brother, had messy curls and big, scared eyes.

When night came, Sami often felt afraid. The dark seemed so big.

"Maya, it's too dark!" he whispered, clutching his blanket tight.

Maya smiled softly. "I know a secret story about the night," she said.

Once, the moon sent down friendly fireflies. They danced like tiny stars.

Each firefly carried a little lamp, lighting the way for sleepy creatures.

Then, the moonbeams stretched down, soft and silvery, like warm blankets.
