A kind-hearted child named Marlowe helps a grumpy, shell-less crab named Pinchy find the perfect new home on a sunny beach, with a little help from her quirky animal friends.

Marlowe bounced onto the sunny beach. Her red boots squished the warm, golden sand. "Hooray for adventure!" she giggled loudly.
Suddenly, a little orange crab scuttled by. His shell looked quite chipped and very lonely. Pinchy sighed a tiny, crabby sigh.
“Oh dear,” Marlowe whispered softly. “You need a cozy new house, little friend!” Pinchy clicked his claws, "Yes, please!"
She offered her bright yellow bucket. Pinchy the crab shook his big claw, "No way!" "Too big and too plastic!" he scuttled.
Marlowe built a tall, wobbly sandcastle. Pinchy peeked out, then scuttled away. "Too sandy and too crumbly!" he grumbled.
“Squawk!” cried a fluffy seagull, landing near. "A fish home? Yummy!" he squawked, confused. Marlowe blinked, "No, a crab home!"
Marlowe chased a tiny fish in the water. The fish zoomed past her red boots, "Whee!" Squawk swooped, "My turn for fish home!"
Pinchy watched from his rock, shaking his head. This was not helping his housing crisis! "So much splashing, so little home!"
A wobbly purple starfish blinked slowly. “Hello, Twinkle!” Marlowe whispered happily. Twinkle wiggled a friendly arm back.
“Pinchy needs a home,” Marlowe explained. Twinkle wiggled an arm towards a tide pool. "Look there, little friend," she twinkled.
