Luna loved to dance! She twirled and swayed, like a leaf in the warm breeze.

But winter came, cold and white. Snow covered everything outside her window.

Luna missed her warm island home, Puerto Rico. She missed the sun and green trees.

Her Abuelo Miguel saw her sad face. He had kind eyes and a warm, gentle smile.

He sat beside her. "Do you remember the Coquí frogs, mi amor?" he asked softly.

He told her about tiny frogs singing "Co-KEE! Co-KEE!" in the rainforest.

He spoke of tall trees, bright flowers, and warm, gentle rain falling softly.

Luna closed her eyes. She could almost feel the warm air. An idea sparked!

She found a big box. Then, small green plants and soft, colorful fabric.

Luna carefully placed the plants. She made tiny, bright flowers from paper.
