📖 Read the Story
Little Lulu lived in a cozy tree hollow. Her fur was soft lavender, her eyes sparkled like amber. She loved all things gentle and kind.
One sunny morning, Lulu felt a special longing. She wished to find something truly lovely. Something that made her heart sing.
With her rainbow scarf tied tight, Lulu skipped into the whispering woods. She searched for a sound, a feeling, a special "L."
Under a grand oak tree, she heard a tiny, sad peep. A little baby bird had fallen from its nest, all alone.
The little bird shivered. Lulu’s heart felt a gentle ache. She knew just what it needed: a soft, comforting lullaby.
"I must find the perfect sound!" she thought. She remembered her own mama’s gentle songs. Where could a lullaby hide?
First, she listened to the tall trees. The leaves rustled, "Shhh-shhh," in the breeze. But it felt too loud for the tiny bird.
Next, she found a sparkling stream. The water lapped softly, "Gurgle-gurgle." It was pretty, but still not quite right.
A busy ladybug landed on her nose. "Hello!" it chirped. But ladybugs were too lively for a sleepy song.
Lulu sighed a little sigh. Finding a lullaby was harder than she thought. The baby bird still looked so lonely.
Then, she saw a field of luminous moon-lilies. Their petals glowed softly, a beautiful, gentle light.
"Oh, how lovely!" she whispered. The lilies had no sound, but their peaceful glow made her feel calm.
She carefully gathered a few soft, glowing petals. Then, she found a fluffy, white feather. These felt like lullaby pieces.
Lulu hurried back to the little bird. She made a tiny, soft nest of moss and placed the petals inside.
