Lily and Luna's Best Playdate

My name is Lily, and I have bright red pigtails and a sprinkle of freckles. Today was a very special day!

I was going to play with my very best friend, Luna! She has shiny, shoulder-length black hair and twinkling black eyes.

Luna's house felt so cozy and full of adventures. Her bedroom was a rainbow of toys and art supplies.

First, we played hide-and-seek! I covered my eyes and counted to ten, "Ready or not, here I come!"

Luna giggled from behind a big, fluffy pile of pillows. I found her quickly, and then it was her turn to count!

Next, we decided to make our nails sparkle. Luna brought out tiny bottles of shimmering polish.

My nails turned a dazzling blue, and Luna's were a pretty, shimmering pink. They looked so fancy!

Then, we opened Luna's dress-up trunk. Inside were beautiful, flowing royal gowns!

I became Princess Lily, with a long, golden dress. Luna was Princess Luna, in a magnificent blue gown.

Our next adventure was sewing! Luna had special fabric and a little needle for making a snuggly friend.

We carefully made tiny stitches, filling our new teddy bear with soft, fluffy stuffing. He was so cuddly!

After our sewing project, we went outside to Luna's backyard. A colorful tent awaited us!

We set up a charming boutique inside the tent, filled with imaginary treasures to sell.
