Lilly and the Sky-High Secret

Lilly's seventh birthday was just around the corner! Her mum called Ally and her together. "Guess what, girls?" Mum beamed, holding the phone. "Uncle Messiah just called with the most exciting news!"

"He wants us to fly first class to New York City for your birthday, Lilly!" Mum explained, her voice full of joy. "And Ally, he said he has more surprises for your March birthday waiting at the hotel!"

Lilly's eyes widened like saucers, sparkling with disbelief. Ally gasped, "New York City? First class? This is incredible!" They hugged their mum tightly, giggling with delight at the amazing news.

A few days later, their suitcases were open wide, ready for adventure. Lilly carefully packed her favorite teddy bear, Captain Cuddles, making sure he was comfy. Ally double-checked her puzzle book, just in case.

The airport buzzed with excitement. So many people! They checked in their luggage and walked towards their gate, following bright signs. "First class this way!" Mum pointed, guiding them.

Their seats were huge and comfy, like mini living rooms with soft blankets! Lilly pressed her nose to the window, watching tiny cars below as the plane zoomed into the sky. Ally started sketching.

Soon, they landed in the big city! Yellow taxis zoomed past towering buildings that touched the clouds. Their hotel looked like a giant castle made of glass and sparkling lights.

The hotel lobby was sparkling with chandeliers. "Welcome, Lilly!" the kind receptionist said, smiling warmly. "Uncle Messiah left a special envelope for you, and a key to your unique room."

Lilly's heart thumped with excitement. Inside the elegant envelope, a small, shiny key card lay on a folded note. She carefully unfolded it, her eyes scanning the words.

Their room was amazing! It looked exactly like an old airplane cockpit, with big round windows and a control panel desk. Lilly looked around, remembering the note: "Find the first clue near where dreams take flight!"

On the control panel, a tiny paper airplane was tucked under a lever. Lilly carefully pulled it out and unfolded it. Inside, a riddle was written: "I have a big mouth but never speak. Find me where the water flows and splashes unique."

"A big mouth that never speaks... a fountain?" Ally wondered, tapping her chin thoughtfully. Lilly remembered Mum mentioning the hotel's special indoor pool. "The pool! Water flows and splashes there!"

They quickly changed into their bright swimsuits, eager to follow the clue. The hotel's indoor pool was on a lower floor. They hurried down the corridor, following the signs.
