Lila the ladybug lived in a beautiful rose garden in sunny France. She had a shiny red shell.
She loved to munch on tasty green aphids all day long. They were her favorite snack!
But Lila had a secret worry deep inside her tiny ladybug heart. She was afraid.
She was very, very afraid of flying high up in the big, blue sky! It felt too far.
One warm morning, Lila spotted the juiciest aphids on a giant rose. Up she climbed!
She munched and munched, happy on the highest, softest petal. So delicious!
Then Lila looked down. Oh dear! The ground looked so very, very far away.
She was stuck! Lila was too scared to spread her wings and fly down. What could she do?
"Hello there, little one!" buzzed a friendly voice. It was Buzz the bee, flying nearby.
"Why are you so sad?" asked Buzz, his wings humming softly. "It's beautiful up here!"
