Leo loved to draw. His nose was sprinkled with freckles.
One sunny morning, he found a special crayon. It shimmered!
Leo drew a brave pirate cat. "Captain Calico!" he named him.
Poof! Captain Calico jumped right off the page!
Captain Calico had a tiny ship, a red bathtub!
He sailed the "Ocean of Blankets" in Leo's cozy room.
Then, Leo drew something big and green. A monster!
This was Grizwald. He looked very, very tall.
Grizwald had big teeth, but his eyes looked a little sad.
"Ahoy, Leo!" said Captain Calico. "He seems lonely."
