Kaiya loved to draw. Her bright eyes sparkled as she filled her sketchbook with colorful dreams. She imagined wonderful worlds beyond her window.

One sunny morning, tucked beneath her drawing pencils, she found a paintbrush unlike any other. Its bristles shimmered with every color of the rainbow.

"A magic brush?" Kaiya whispered, her heart fluttering with excitement. She dipped it into a splash of blue paint, then touched her paper.

A tiny, fluffy cloud floated right off the page! It drifted gently above her head, soft and real. Kaiya gasped, a wide smile spreading.

Suddenly, a plaintive chirp caught her ear. From the tall oak tree in her garden, a tiny baby bird had fallen, lost and alone.

Its mama bird fluttered anxiously high above, unable to reach her little one. Kaiya's heart ached for the lost, trembling chick.

How can I help you get home, little one?" she wondered. Then, her eyes lit up! She knew just what her magical brush could do.

With careful strokes, Kaiya painted a magnificent arch of vibrant colors. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet—a beautiful rainbow bridge!

The painted bridge shimmered, then stretched out, solid and glowing, from the grass right up to the lowest branch of the oak tree.

The baby bird, peeping softly, bravely hopped onto the colorful path. Step by tiny step, it followed the rainbow home.

Mama bird chirped with joy as her baby safely reached the branch. They snuggled close, warm and reunited. Kaiya beamed, her heart full.

As the afternoon wore on, Kaiya noticed something else. The sun, usually so bright, looked droopy and tired in the sky.

Its golden rays seemed to yawn. "Oh dear," Kaiya thought, "even the sun needs a cozy place to rest after a long day."

She dipped her magical brush into soft white paint and began to draw. Swirls and curves formed the puffiest, most inviting cloud.
