Kai was a small, fluffy brown bear cub. A paintbrush was always in his paw.
He loved painting. Most of all, Kai loved painting the big, beautiful sunset.
He mixed bright reds and sunny yellows. He tried to capture the glowing sky.
But the colors just weren't right. His painting looked a little sad.
"Mama," Kai sighed, "my sunsets never look truly magical."
Mama Bear smiled kindly. "Let's go watch the real magic, little artist."
They sat on Sunset Hill. Mama Bear pointed to the changing sky.
"See the soft pink? The fiery orange? The gentle purple?" she whispered.
Mama showed him how to mix paints. "A little of this, a tiny bit of that."
"Mix a little. Look closely. Try again, little bear," she encouraged.
