Kai and the Lost Honu

Kai lived in Hawaiʻi, where the sun always shone bright. But his heart felt a little cloudy.

His best friend, Leilani, had moved far away to the mainland. Kai missed her laughter.

Now, the beach felt too quiet. The waves whispered, but Kai felt very lonely.

One morning, the wind howled. Dark clouds gathered, and big waves crashed on the shore.
