Jules felt yucky. Her tummy hurt so much. She was stuck in the hospital.
"Oh dear," she whispered. "My tummy feels wobbly again. I need to go."
She shuffled to the bathroom. It was quiet and white, like a cloud.
Suddenly, a sparkle! A tiny puppy peeked out from behind the toilet.
"A puppy!" Jules gasped. "You're magical! I'll call you Lola."
Lola was so fluffy and shimmered with rainbow colours. She licked Jules's hand gently.
Lola tilted her head. "I see tiny, invisible mischief-makers!" she barked softly.
"Mischief-makers?" Jules asked. "What are those, Lola?"
"They're called germs," Lola barked. "They're so tiny! They make tummies ache."
"They love to travel," Lola explained. "From dirty hands, they sneak to mouths!"
"But we can stop them!" Lola wagged her rainbow tail. "With bubbly, warm water!"
Jules scrubbed and scrubbed. The mischief-makers swirled away down the drain! Poof!
"Your body has brave helpers too," Lola whispered. "They fight the germs inside!"
"Rest and sips of water help your helpers win the battle!" Lola added.
