Jovana and the Cloud's Smile

Jovana woke up to sunshine peeking through her window. Her favorite cloud plushie, Cloudy, lay beside her.

But something was different. Cloudy’s soft, fluffy shape looked a little flat. Its tiny smile seemed to droop.

Jovana felt a tiny worry flutter in her chest. Her best friend, Cloudy, seemed sad. She had to help!

"What makes clouds happy?" Jovana wondered aloud. She scrunched her nose, thinking very hard.

Then, a brilliant idea sparked! Maybe Cloudy needed a grand, special adventure to cheer it up!

Their first stop: the "Sparkle Stream"! Jovana carefully dipped Cloudy’s edge into a bowl of shimmery water.

"Does the cool water feel refreshing, Cloudy?" Jovana whispered softly. But Cloudy’s smile still stayed low.

Next, they ventured into the "Whispering Woods" – under the big oak tree in the garden.

Jovana told Cloudy a funny story about a chattering squirrel, hoping it would giggle.

Cloudy remained quiet and still. Jovana felt a tiny bit discouraged, but she wouldn't give up on her friend.

"Aha!" Jovana exclaimed, her eyes wide. "Perhaps you need a splash of cheerful color!"

They found the "Rainbow Ridge" – Jovana’s box of bright crayons and paints.

Jovana carefully painted a tiny, cheerful rainbow arc on a piece of paper, just for Cloudy.
