Jessica's Delightful Day

Jessica bounced with excitement! Today was the day she visited her best friend, Belle. Her heart fluttered like a butterfly.

Soon, Jessica arrived at Belle's cheerful blue house. Bright flowers bloomed in the garden, welcoming her inside.

"Hi, Jessica!" Belle exclaimed, her dark eyes sparkling. "Come in! I've been waiting for you!"

First, they settled at a low wooden table. Crayons, markers, and glitter glue waited like colorful treasures.

Jessica drew a big, fluffy cloud with a rainbow arching over it. Belle sketched a brave dragon, breathing sparkly fire.

Their pictures were vibrant and imaginative. "Look!" Belle giggled, holding up her dragon. "He's flying to the moon!"

Next, it was time for their favorite game! Belle pulled out her special game console, the "Switch."

The little console whirred to life. They chose a game where tiny characters raced through a candy kingdom.

Laughter filled the room as they zoomed past gummy bears and chocolate rivers. Belle cheered, "You're so fast!"

Suddenly, a delicious aroma drifted from the kitchen. Jessica sniffed the air. "What's that yummy smell?"

Belle's mom, Mrs. Chen, smiled. "It's my special salmon rice, girls! Almost ready for lunch."

Jessica felt a little shy. She hadn't tried salmon rice before. Would it be different?
