Isabella and the Whispering Spring

Deep in the Amazon rainforest lived Isabella, a macaw with feathers of bright emerald green and sapphire blue. She loved to sing and fly.

But the dry season had come. The great river, usually gushing with life, was now just cracked, dusty earth. All the animals were very thirsty.

"Oh dear," sighed Leo the leopard, his golden fur dusty. "Where will we find water now?" Miko the monkey chattered sadly, his tail drooping.

Isabella remembered an old tale. A secret spring, hidden deep in the forest, whispered the wind. "We must find it!" she squawked, her voice clear.

She gathered her friends. There was quick Miko the monkey, quiet Leo the leopard, and strong, gentle Tilly the tapir. They all wanted to help.

"Follow me!" Isabella called, soaring above the tall trees. Her bright wings led the way through the thick, green jungle, deeper and deeper.

Miko, with his nimble paws, climbed the tallest trees. "No water up here!" he chattered, scanning the leafy canopy for any shimmering sign.

Leo, with his sharp eyes, searched the forest floor. He sniffed the damp earth, looking for any clue, a tiny wet patch, or a fresh track.

Tilly, strong and steady, pushed through tangled vines. Her powerful snout cleared a path where others could not go, never giving up.

"Look!" squawked Isabella, swooping down. Below, a patch of vibrant green moss clung to some rocks. "A sign! It's cooler here!"

The moss felt cool and damp. "Water must be near!" whispered Leo, his green eyes sparkling with hope. They felt a surge of excitement.

A huge fallen log blocked a small opening. "Too heavy!" Miko cried, tugging with all his might. "We need to push together!" said Tilly.

Isabella landed and pushed with her strong legs. Leo, Miko, and Tilly pushed too. Slowly, with a groan, the heavy log moved aside.
