This is Indigo, a little iguana. He loves to play his ukulele. His music dances across the warm desert sand.

Soon, it was time for the big Desert Jamboree! Indigo wanted to play a brand-new song.

This new song had tricky notes. It twisted and turned like a desert snake.

Strum, strum, *TWANG!* Oh dear. The notes just wouldn't listen to his little fingers.

Indigo sighed a big, sandy sigh. "This song is too hard!" he mumbled sadly.

He walked to his friend, Cactus Carl. Carl was tall and green, with a kind, crinkly smile.

"Hello, little musician," Carl said softly. "Your music sounds a little wobbly today."

"It's the new song, Carl! It's just too hard. My fingers get all tangled."

Carl pointed to a tiny flower pushing through a rock. "Look, Indigo. It took many sunny days to bloom."

Indigo looked at the flower. He picked up his ukulele. Maybe he could try again.
