📖 Read the Story

Finn loved his home in Seaview Cove. The beach was his favorite place, full of salty air.

He spent happy hours collecting shiny shells and smooth, green sea glass. Each one held a tiny secret.

Sometimes, when Finn tried to speak, his words got stuck. "S-s-shells," he might say, very softly.

One sunny morning, a bright poster appeared: "Seaview Cove Talent Show! All talents welcome!"

Finn loved poems about the sea and its wonders. He wished he could share his favorite one.

But a shiver of fear went through him. What if his words got stuck on stage? He felt scared.

His big sister, Saoirse, always made beautiful music. Her ukulele sang sweet, calming tunes.

"I... I wish I could," Finn whispered, showing her his special seashell poem. Saoirse listened closely.

Saoirse smiled. "Finn, what if we sing your poem instead?" she asked, her eyes sparkling.

She strummed a gentle tune. "Singing can make words flow like soft, rolling waves," she explained.

Finn found that when he sang, his words felt free and clear. They danced in the air!

Day after day, they practiced. Finn's voice grew stronger, like the incoming tide on the shore.

Talent show night arrived! Finn felt butterflies flutter in his tummy, big and wiggly.

"Remember, your voice is special, Finn," Saoirse whispered, giving him a squeeze. "Just be you."
