📖 Read the Story

Elara loved to dream. Her favorite spot was looking up at the dusty, forgotten car park rooftop, high above the busy street.

“What if,” she whispered, a secret thought blooming in her mind, “that grey roof became a vibrant, blossoming sky garden?”

The rooftop was vast and barren, covered in cracks and dusty shadows. It seemed impossible, a lonely, unloved space.

But Elara was brave! She grabbed her trusty trowel, her heart beating with excitement. Her grand quest had begun!

She found a rusty, squeaky gate, hidden behind some old bins. With a determined push, it opened to her secret world.

Mr. Henderson, the wise gardener, was tending his tiny balcony pots nearby. “What’s your grand plan, little sprout?” he asked kindly.

Elara explained her sky garden dream, her words tumbling out. Mr. Henderson’s eyes twinkled. “A magnificent idea!” he declared.

“First, we need rich, dark soil,” Mr. Henderson advised. “Lots and lots of it, for happy plants to grow!”

Elara told her friend Leo about the plan. “A garden up there? That’s silly!” Leo giggled, kicking a loose stone.

“Imagine butterflies and buzzing bees!” Elara urged, her voice full of magic. Leo’s eyes widened. “Okay, I’ll help!” he decided.

Together, they hauled heavy bags of soil. Up, up, up the stairs they went, huffing and puffing, but never giving up.

They carefully dug small holes in the new, dark soil. Elara placed tiny seeds, whispering, “Grow, little friends, grow!”

Days turned into weeks. They watered every morning, patiently waiting for the magic to happen, full of hope.

One sunny morning, tiny green shoots poked through the soil! “Look, Leo, sprouts!” Elara cheered, jumping with joy.
