Desmond's Daring Colors

Desmond the dinosaur loved to paint. His cozy cave studio was always a joyful, colorful mess.

He mixed bright berry reds and swampy greens. He splattered sunshine yellows and deep ocean blues.

Sometimes, Desmond worried his art was too wild. "Is it good enough?" he'd wonder, with a little sigh.

One day, he painted his biggest, messiest masterpiece yet! Swirls of every color danced across the bark.

Suddenly, the painting began to glow! It shimmered, pulsed, and then swirled open like a rainbow door.

"A portal!" gasped Desmond, his heart thumping. He peered inside, curious and a little bit scared.

With a deep breath, Desmond stepped through. He tumbled into a world bursting with unimaginable hues!

Trees had rainbow leaves, rivers flowed with liquid light, and flowers glowed like tiny stars.

But then, a shadow fell. The bright colors around him began to fade, turning dull and gray.

A giant, shadowy Stegosaurus appeared, silently draining all the beautiful light and color.

Desmond felt a shiver of doubt. "My paints are just messy," he thought. "How can I help?"

He tried to paint, but his brush felt heavy. The colors on his palette seemed weak and pale.

Then, he remembered his joy! His bold, wild colors were special. They were *his* way.
