Coral's Secret Song

Coral, a little mermaid, lived deep in the sparkling ocean. Her hair was long and green, just like soft, swaying seaweed.

Coral had a secret: she loved to sing! Her voice was soft and sweet, like tiny bells chiming.

Her favorite place to sing was the Echoing Grotto. It was a secret cave, sparkling with hidden lights.

Inside, her songs echoed beautifully. She felt safe and happy, singing her heart out, just for herself.

Soon, the annual Sea Song Festival would begin! All the sea creatures loved to sing and celebrate together.

The festival needed the Crystal Conch. It helped everyone hear the ocean’s wonderful, joyful music.

But this year, the magnificent Crystal Conch looked dull. It had lost its sparkle and wouldn't hum.

The sea creatures worried. How could they have a festival without the ocean's special music?

Coral saw their sad faces. She wished she could help, but she was just too shy to sing for others.

Then, Finley, a friendly, playful dolphin, swam by. He always had a cheerful, encouraging smile.

Finley nudged Coral gently. 'Why the long face, little mermaid?' he chattered with a click.

'The wise old turtle says the conch needs a true, heartfelt song to glow again,' Finley explained sadly.
