This is Celeste. She was a very tiny star. Her smile was a soft, sparkly twinkle.
But Celeste felt shy. She kept her light very, very dim. The other stars shone so brightly!
"Oh no," she whispered. "What if I shine too much? Everyone will notice!"
One night, Luna the Moon saw Celeste. Luna had a kind, warm glow.
Luna floated softly closer. "Hello, little star," she hummed. "Why are you hiding?"
Luna asked gently. Celeste looked down.
Celeste mumbled, "I'm scared to shine. What if I'm too bright?"
Luna smiled a big, comforting smile. "Every star has its own special light."
"Your light is just for you. It's important and wonderful."
"Try to let it sparkle, Celeste. Just a little bit more."
