Carlos was a lively little chameleon. He loved to change his colors!
Green, blue, red, yellow – he could be any shade. But a big day was coming.
The Friendship Day Talent Show! Carlos felt a little flutter in his tummy.
"Oh dear," he sighed to his best friend, Sofia. "What's wrong, Carlos?" Sofia asked kindly.
"I don't have a talent!" Carlos mumbled. "Everyone else will sing or dance."
Sofia smiled her sunniest smile. "Carlos! Your colors are your talent!"
"My colors?" Carlos blinked. "How can colors be a talent show act?"
"You can tell a story with them!" Sofia whispered. "A beautiful, colorful story."
Carlos thought hard. He tried changing from calm green to excited yellow. Then to peaceful blue.
They practiced every day. Carlos started to feel a spark of joy. This could be fun!
