Buster the bouncy beagle wiggled. "Tomorrow!" he whimpered, hiding his face. "The vet!"
He worried about pokey needles. "Ouch!" he imagined. His tail drooped low.
Dad Dog had a clever idea. "Let's play Vet Adventures!" he said with a smile.
Buster became Dr. Buster! He had a shiny toy stethoscope and a very important job.
"First patient: Dad Dog!" Buster announced. He listened to Dad's strong, steady heart.
Next, Mr. Snuggles felt poorly. "A little boo-boo on his paw," Dr. Buster decided.
He used a colorful, soft bandage. "All better now!" Buster cheered happily.
Squeaky Squirrel needed a check-up too. Dr. Buster checked his squeaky nose and bushy tail.
Vets were helpers! They made everyone feel good and healthy.
The next day, they walked to Dr. Paws' clinic. It was bright, clean, and welcoming.
