Benji, a small, fluffy monkey, loved to drum! He lived deep in the vibrant, green jungle.

More than anything, Benji dreamed of leading the famous Jungle Jam Band. He imagined grand jungle concerts!

But Benji’s drumming was… very, very LOUD! "Boom-bash-crash!" went his sticks, always too fast.

The other jungle animals often covered their ears. Even the colourful butterflies fluttered away from the noise.

Leo the lion, the bandleader, sighed. "Too much noise, little one," he rumbled gently. "Music needs harmony."

Benji’s heart drooped like a wilting flower. He just wanted to make beautiful music, but how?

One sunny morning, Benji met Miko, the ancient, wise macaw. Miko had iridescent emerald and sapphire feathers.

"Your heart is full of rhythm, little drummer," Miko chirped softly. "But your ears must learn to listen."

Miko gave Benji two special, shimmering wooden drumsticks. "With these, listen closely to the jungle," she said.

Benji tapped one stick. *Tap!* He heard the river gurgle, *gurgle-splash!* It sounded like a gentle song.

He tapped again. *Tap!* He heard colourful birds sing, *tweet-chirp-trill!* Their melodies danced in the air.

He tapped both sticks. *Tap-tap!* He heard leaves rustle, *shhh-whisper-swish!* The wind played a soft tune.
