Belle and the Wobbly Jelly Playdate

Hello! I'm Belle. I have dark brown hair and shiny black eyes. Last week, I had a super special playdate.

It was at my friend Jessica's house! Jessica has dark brown hair too, with a sweet fringe and bright pink glasses.

Ding-dong! I rang the doorbell. Jessica opened the door with a big, happy smile. Her house felt so warm and welcoming.

We hugged quickly, then bounced inside. "What should we do first?" Jessica asked, her pink glasses wiggling with excitement.

Suddenly, a yummy smell floated from the kitchen. "Jelly!" we both shouted, our tummies rumbling with delight.

Jessica's mum had made bright red jelly. It wobbled and jiggled in its bowl, sparkling like a ruby treasure.

We carefully scooped spoonfuls. Mmm, it was so smooth and sweet! The delicious taste made us both giggle.

After every last wobbly bit was gone, Jessica winked. "Ready for Monkey Bash?" she asked, holding up her Switch.

Her living room was cozy, with soft cushions. We snuggled down, controllers in hand, ready for adventure.

Monkey Bash was a game where cute monkeys collected bananas. But this level had a tricky, spinning bridge!

I tried to jump, but my monkey kept falling! "Oh no!" I sighed, feeling a little bit frustrated. It was harder than it looked.

Jessica, who was very good, patted my arm. "Don't worry, Belle! We can try again. We just need a plan."

She showed me how to time my jumps. "You go first, then I'll follow!" she suggested, her pink glasses gleaming.
