📖 Read the Story

This is Beatrice, a fluffy sheep with wool like a vibrant rainbow. She lived on sunny Whispering Hill.

But Beatrice held a secret worry deep inside. She was terribly afraid of shearing day!

While other sheep played and nibbled, Beatrice often hid away. Her bright wool made her feel different.

The other sheep, mostly white or cream, didn't quite understand Beatrice's colorful fluff.

One morning, strange, glowing vines appeared. Moonpetal Vine bloomed all over her quiet grove.

Beatrice felt drawn to its shimmering petals. She gently brushed against the new, magical plants.

Suddenly, her rainbow wool began to sparkle! It hummed with a soft, warm light of its own.

When the wind blew cold, her wool made a cozy, warm bubble around her. She felt so snug!

This wasn't just any wool. It felt truly special! Beatrice felt a little bit brave inside.

Soon, old Barnaby, the kind shepherd, noticed Beatrice's special, shimmering glow.

"Hello, Beatrice," he said softly. "Your wool shines brighter than the morning sun."

"It's almost shearing day," Barnaby explained. "Your special wool could help many people."

Beatrice remembered her fear of the shears. But she also remembered the cozy, warm feeling.

She took a deep, brave breath. Maybe her wool wasn't just for hiding anymore.
