Barnaby Bear loved his cozy den. It was warm and soft inside.
But his friends lived in different places. Barnaby wondered why.
“I will visit them all!” he decided. First, he went to see Foxy.
Foxy lived in a small burrow. “Hello, Barnaby!” she chirped.
“My burrow keeps me safe,” Foxy said. “It’s perfect for my kits!”
Next, Barnaby lumbered to Penelope Pig’s sty. It was very muddy!
“The mud keeps me cool,” Penelope oinked happily. “It’s my favorite!”
Then, Barnaby found Walter Wolf’s den. It looked dark and quiet.
“My den is a good hiding place,” Walter rumbled. “And safe for my pups.”
Finally, Barnaby visited Clara Cow’s big red barn. It was wide open!
